Gen Z influence
Bettridge will explore the digital behaviour of Generation Z (those born from the mid-1990s onwards) and the impact they are having on the cruise sector and travel agent community.
‘The rising generation of young travellers is redefining the way we buy and experience travel,’ CLIA Australasia and Asia MD Joel Katz said.
‘Ellen will also provide insight into how the cruise sector has been among pioneers catering to young consumers,’ Katz said.
Strong industry experience
Bettridge, who has led Uniworld since August 2016, has held senior executive roles with Azamara Club Cruises and Silversea Cruises. She also spent more than 20 years with American Express where she was VP of retail travel.
The sixth Cruise360 Australasia will include a trade show for cruise industry exhibitors and CLIA members have the opportunity to walk around and have lunch on board Princess Cruises’ Sea Princess on August 29.
