Norwegian Cruise Line's Simon Murray was promoted from senior director to VP of guest experiences and innovation.

Added strategic oversight for Oceania, Regent

Murray has long been spearheading the strategy and implementation of Norwegian’s shipboard and shoreside innovation efforts. The new role expands his responsibilities and oversight—from a strategic capacity—to guest experiences and innovation for Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

In addition, Murray will be working more closely with other departments such as Food & Beverage, Marine Operations and Guest Services to further implement new technology to enhance the guest experiences aboard the entire Norwegian fleet.

He continues reporting to Mark Kansley, SVP hotel operations for Norwegian Cruise Line.

18-plus years with Norwegian

Murray has been with Norwegian for nearly 19 years and has held a variety of roles related to entertainment, newbuilds and passenger programs.
